Jesus: “In 2 Corinthians 5:7, the Apostle Paul, a servant of God much like ourselves, wrote a letter to the church in Corinth. This letter contains a verse that has become a cornerstone for many believers. It says, ‘For we walk by faith, not by sight.’”
Thomas: “Master, I often struggle with this. My nature is to seek tangible proof, as you know. How can we walk by faith when our eyes and minds demand evidence?”
Jesus: “Thomas, remember when I appeared to you after my resurrection, and you touched my wounds? You believed because you saw. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. Faith is trusting in what you cannot see with your physical eyes. It’s about trusting in the promises of God and the truth of His word, even when circumstances might suggest otherwise.”
Andrew: “So, walking by faith means trusting in God’s guidance even when we can’t see the path clearly?”
Jesus: “Precisely, Andrew. It’s about surrendering your understanding and relying on God’s wisdom. It’s believing in His goodness and sovereignty, even in the midst of trials and uncertainties. This faith is what guides your steps, not your physical sight or understanding of the world.”
Peter: “It’s a challenging path, Lord, but I’ve seen how walking by faith, not by sight, has led us to places we never imagined, spreading Your message far and wide.”
Jesus: “Indeed, Peter. Remember, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In your journey, let faith be your guide, and trust in the Father’s plan, even when the road ahead is not visible to your eyes.”
