Jesus: My friends, consider this question: “How do I find my way?” What thoughts come to mind?
Matthew: In my former life as a tax collector, I would say by making plans and calculating risks. But now, following you, Lord, it seems different.
Jesus: Indeed, Matthew. To find one’s way in this world is not just about plans and calculations. It is written, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Philip: Lord, does this mean that following you is the way to find our path?
Jesus: Yes, Philip. In following me, you find more than a path; you find truth and life. As a shepherd leads his sheep, I guide those who follow me.
Bartholomew: But there are so many choices and paths in life. How do we know which is yours?
Jesus: Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, Bartholomew. In doing so, your heart aligns with divine guidance. Prayer, scripture, and the Holy Spirit will guide your steps.
Thomas: It’s not always easy to discern, Lord. Sometimes the way seems unclear.
Jesus: Thomas, in times of uncertainty, trust in God. Proverbs say, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Your journey may be uncertain, but my presence is your constant guide.
